TYCA-SE meets each year for several days of professional presentations, meetings, and camaraderie. This is an excellent place for members to keep up with trends in two-year college teaching as well as to establish a voice and a presence within the profession.
The TYCA-SE Conference, regardless of which of the ten states in the region hosts it, is as close to a family reunion as any professional meeting can be. From hellos and hugs at the pre-conference meetings and the opening session, to the final farewells at the closing session and post-conference activities, friends and colleagues share ideas, teaching tips, research, war stories, and camaraderie, always taking away a treasure trove of information for the classroom. The level of professionalism and intellectual engagement balances perfectly with the social events and pure fun offered. You’ll come away feeling fulfilled, engaged, and eager to plan your next TYCA-SE Conference experience.
